Job summary

Marks & Spencer Ireland in Dublin is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to manage daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure a high standard of customer service. You will coordinate resources to deliver a ready-to-trade floor and support Colleague Managers across shifts.

The role requires flexibility for opening and closing times, cashier tasks, and maintaining a safe, well-presented store. An inclusive team environment and comprehensive training accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Good level of digital capability.
• Willingness to be a key holder and respond to call outs.
• Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and ensure a sales floor ready to trade.
• Coordinate resources to serve, sell and fill and lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Coach colleagues on best practices and drive productivity across opening/closing shifts.
• Be a key holder and respond to call outs when required.
• Open/close the building, manage cash handling and logging in Helpdesks.
