Job summary

Rhenus Group in Ireland is seeking a role to implement and learn in key areas of compliance (SHEQ). You will assist with administration, records, audits, and reporting while supporting accident investigations and risk assessments.

The role focuses on maintaining documentation, coordinating safety communications, inductions, toolbox talks, and contributing to a positive safety culture across the business. This is an on-site position based in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Assist in administration and continuous improvement of the company's SHEQ management systems.
• Maintain accurate SHEQ records, documentation and compliance databases.
• Support audits, ensuring actions are completed on time.
• Monitor compliance and help prepare reports on SHEQ metrics.
• Assist with investigations of accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Help maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Work with managers to encourage a positive safety culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day admin, training coordination, and KPI dashboards.
• Collect and maintain health and safety data for reporting.

• ADR – Road
• Emergency Response
• Chemical Handling

• Assist in the administration and continuous improvement of the company's SHEQ management systems.
• Maintain accurate SHEQ records, documentation and compliance databases.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring any actions are completed within agreed timescales.
• Monitor compliance and help prepare reports on SHEQ performance and key metrics.
• Assist with the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformance issues.
• Help maintain risk assessments, safe systems of work and associated documentation.
• Coordinate safety communications, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Work with managers & supervisors across the business to encourage a positive safety culture.
• Support compliance with relevant legislation, standards and internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day administrative activities, including correspondence, meetings, training coordination, and maintaining SHEQ databases, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Collect and maintain accurate health and safety data, supporting reporting, performance monitoring, and informed decision-making.
