Pivotal Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced SHEQ Advisor for its construction team in the Limerick region. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards across all project phases.

You will work with the SHEQ Manager and PM team to support site teams, ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture and reporting.

Competenze

• Experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety, or Environmental role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Mansioni

• Support project teams in the practical implementation of SHEQ systems on site.
• Prepare and maintain SHEQ documentation including RAMS, Health & Safety Plans, Environmental Plans, and Quality Plans.
• Review subcontractor RAMS and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
• Monitor SHEQ performance and report findings to senior management.
• Attend SHEQ meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate SHEQ records, reports, and statistics.
• Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support the ongoing development of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a SHEQ, Health & Safety, or Environmental role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SHEQ reporting systems.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, Diploma, or equivalent) desirable.
