Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a permanent, full-time role on a County Clare project. The engineer will perform precise setting out and surveying, interpret drawings, and coordinate closely with the site team to ensure quality and programme compliance.

The role requires civil/construction surveying qualifications and proven setting-out experience with a main contractor, using Total Stations and GPS.

Qualifications

• Relevant Civil/Construction/Surveying qualification.
• Experience as Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer in construction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying in accordance with drawings and specs.
• Establish and maintain control points, levels and benchmarks.
• Use Total Stations, GPS and surveying equipment.
• Interpret construction drawings and technical information to guide works.
• Ensure works are completed accurately and in line with programme.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with subcontractors and project team.
