Job summary

Exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer in North Dublin to join a leading property developer. This role requires setting out, quality checks, and liaising with site personnel to ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering and at least 2 years' experience with a Main Contractor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience for a Main Contractor in ROI.
• Experience in residential apartments is desirable.
• Competence in all aspects of set out, survey & level.

Job Title – Site Engineer – Intermediate/ Setting Out

Project – Residential

Job Location – North Dublin

Salary – €45K - €55K + package

Fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable leading property developer in North Dublin.

Ideal location for someone from North Dublin, Louth or South Down.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on a high profile, high value residential development that would be great to have under their belt.

My client is keen to chat to Site Engineers with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a Main Contractor in ROI or UK – ideally on residential projects however this is not essential.

Applicants must be proficient in setting out/ total station.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
• Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
• Support the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience residential apartments is desirable – Precast concrete Frames and timber frame.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor in ROI.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
