Job summary

Evolution Security is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Ireland. You will work with clients to troubleshoot and maintain CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems, ensuring uptime and compliance.

The role offers on-site and remote support, on-call hours, and opportunities to stay at the forefront of security technology. A technical certification in electronics or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role in the security industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Superb communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Technical certification in electronics, security systems, or a related field is preferred
• Flexibility to work varied hours and on-call as required for service requests

Responsibilities

• Maintain security systems and equipment at client sites
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of security systems to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security systems and equipment
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients regarding their security solutions
• Educate clients on the proper use and functionality of security systems and equipment
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
