We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and grow our Service & Maintenance business across Leinster. This role requires a well-rounded leader who combines commercial awareness, operational excellence, customer relationship management and people leadership. While a technical understanding is important, success in this role will come from the ability to manage people, customers, performance and business growth.

This is a key leadership role within a growing organisation, offering the opportunity to enhance service delivery, develop teams and support business growth.

The Role

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Service & Maintenance Department, ensuring high-quality customer service, efficient operations and strong commercial performance.

Working closely with senior management, you will oversee service delivery, resource planning, customer relationships and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and company standards.
About You
Ideal Candidate

This role would suit a well-rounded manager who combines strong leadership and commercial skills with a practical understanding of service operations. A technical background is beneficial, but we are equally interested in candidates who have experience leading teams, managing customer relationships and delivering business performance.

  • Experience in a Service Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop service teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including quotations, job costing and budget management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
  • Experience within the water, wastewater, utilities or environmental services sectors.
  • Technical experience within engineering, maintenance, utilities or similar service environments would be advantageous; however, we are equally interested in candidates with strong commercial, operational and people leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with municipal, industrial and commercial markets, including Uisce Éireann.
  • Experience using ERP or service management systems.

We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.
