Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Senior HRIS Workday Consultant to join our HR Technology Capabilities team. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize Workday and related HR technologies to improve processes and workforce insights.

You will bring 5+ years in Workday HRIS consulting, strong Core HR expertise, and a passion for AI-enabled automation. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage requirements, testing, and deployment, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IS, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of Workday HRIS consulting, implementation, or support.
• Strong expertise in Workday Core HR; experience in Talent, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence.
• Experience leading cross-functional HR technology initiatives.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, integrations, and HR data management.
• Previous ServiceNow experience preferred.
• Exposure to AI-enabled HR technologies, automation platforms, or employee experience solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, evaluate options, and recommend solutions.
• Configure and support Workday with focus on core HR, security, reporting, integrations, and related HR tech platforms.
• Lead HR technology projects from planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Develop future-state HR tech solutions leveraging AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows.
• Drive initiatives that enhance the employee and manager user experience across HR systems.
• Ensure HR data integrity, governance, security, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
• Evaluate vendors and technologies to support the HR technology roadmap.
