Job summary

Yahoo Inc. is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer to lead vulnerability coordination and remediation across cloud, host, and application layers.

You will drive risk-based prioritization, oversee automated remediation pipelines, and partner with analysts, engineers, and leaders to mitigate high-severity vulnerabilities. You will work with Databricks for large-scale data analysis, manage vulnerability scanning platforms, and guide vendor relationships to ensure required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, vulnerability management, or security engineering.
• Experience applying risk-based prioritization using CVSS, EPSS, and KEV signals.
• Experience with core vulnerability scanners: Tenable, Nexpose, Qualys, AWS Inspector, GCP SCC, plus container security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Direct coordination, assessment, communication, and remediation of high-severity vulnerabilities.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities using context, threat intel, KEV and EPSS data.
• Use Databricks to query and analyze large datasets for vulnerability trends and leadership reporting.
• Design and optimize AI-driven vulnerability workflows and automated remediation processes.
