Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Lead Vulnerability Intelligence Analyst based in Ireland to drive the vulnerability intelligence program.

You will validate exploitability, assess real-world risk, and translate findings into actionable guidance for customers. The role blends vulnerability research, exploit validation, detection engineering, automation, and threat intelligence in a remote-friendly, highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated subject-matter-expert-level knowledge of vulnerability research and intelligence.
• Proven ability to validate and test PoCs and assess exploitation claims.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, C, or C++ and tooling development.
• Hands-on experience with VMs, containers, and isolated analysis environments.
• Familiarity with CVSS, CWE, EPSS, and KEV catalog.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability intelligence practice and set assessment standards.
• Research disclosed vulnerabilities and validate exploitation claims.
• Acquire, modify, test PoCs in controlled environments.
• Build honeypots and sensor systems to monitor exploitation activity.
• Develop mitigations when patches are delayed or unavailable.
• Create reports on exploits, actors, targets, and actions for defenders.
• Automate PoC testing, triage, and analysis workflows.
• Integrate intelligence sources end-to-end across ingestion to delivery.
• Mentor junior analysts and raise team standards.
