Job summary

SYSTRA in Ireland seeks an experienced Principal Consultant – Transport Modelling/Planning to join the Dublin office or Cork with hybrid working. You will lead the technical delivery of projects, developing strategic highway, public transport and multi-modal models, and provide strong client-facing guidance across Ireland.

With support from UK and Ireland teams, you will play a key role in delivering and managing projects, ensuring robust analyses and clear presentation to inform planning

Qualifications

• Demonstrable professional experience in Transport Advisory, Planning or Modelling.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis with complex datasets.
• Experience leading deliveries and client-facing advisory work.
• Experience across highway, public transport, or multi-modal modelling in Ireland or similar markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of Transport Advisory, Planning and Modelling projects in Ireland.
• Act as lead practitioner for modelling tools and data analysis for decision making.
• Guide junior colleagues and ensure high-quality outputs and clear reporting.
• Integrate modelling outputs into wider advisory studies and business cases.
