Job summary

Jabil in Ireland is seeking a mid-level Trade Compliance Specialist to lead complex compliance activities and support customer-focused trade compliance across operations.

Hybrid/remote work arrangement with available locations in Ireland (Dublin, Bray, Waterford) and periodic travel to UK/Netherlands as needed. The role requires 4–9+ years in trade compliance, EU export controls, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Training or certification in EU customs law and export controls preferred.
• Experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.
• Manage export licenses, determinations, application, maintenance and reporting.
• Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.
• Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.
• Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
• Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.

Position Summary

The Customer focused Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex compliance activities and supporting customer-focused trade compliance activities across assigned operations.

• Ireland: Dublin / Bray / Waterford
• United Kingdom with regular travelling to Ireland
• Netherlands with regular travelling to Ireland

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.
• Manage Export Licenses, determination, application, maintenance and reporting .
• Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.
• Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.
• Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.

• Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support strategic compliance initiatives and continuous improvement across assigned operations.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Professional training or certification in EU customs law, export controls, and international trade compliance preferred.
• Regional and global education equivalencies accepted.
• Experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 4-9+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or International Trade.
• Experience in handling regulatory audits and managing export licenses is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global compliance programs and stakeholder engagement.
• Full knowledge on supply chain full process from end to end is a plus.
