Job summary

Waterjobsuk is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its Ireland-based Planning team. You will lead planning applications, provide strategic planning advice and guide clients through complex consenting processes across renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development and waste projects.

You will manage multidisciplinary projects, prepare EIARs where required, and contribute to high-quality environmental planning while developing your professional expertise and progressing within the

Qualifications

• Degree and/or Master’s in Town Planning.
• Minimum 8 years’ professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and environmental regulations.
• Chartered membership of IPI or RTPI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications for a variety of development projects.
• Produce planning reports, feasibility studies, masterplans and planning strategies.
• Provide strategic planning advice and guide clients through planning and consenting processes.
• Manage relationships with public and private sector clients.
• Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary projects, ensuring effective collaboration between technical specialists.
• Lead or contribute to the preparation of environmental reports and EIARs.
• Work closely with colleagues across different technical disciplines to support successful project delivery.
