Job summary

Arup in Dublin seeks a Senior Town Planning Consultant to lead planning inputs across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and to drive growth of planning services in Ireland.

You will manage delivery, coordinate resources and budgets, and engage with public and private sector clients to develop project proposals while providing expert guidance on planning policy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in planning, geography, transport, urban design, or related field.
• Chartered Membership of Irish Planning Institute and or Royal Town Planning Institute preferred.
• Strong knowledge of planning policy, legislation, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to develop client-facing proposals and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership and team coordination capability.

• Lead and coordinate planning inputs across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Support business development and growth strategy for planning services in Ireland.
• Manage project delivery ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with client objectives.
