Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Test Support to own and scale the Manufacturing Test Ecosystem for server hardware across multiple sites. You will architect end-to-end test infrastructure, drive automation to improve yield and uptime, and lead data-driven analysis of production trends.

You will collaborate with ODMs, CMs, and AWS hardware teams to deliver design-for-test feedback and enable efficient ramp during NPI, ensuring robust test coverage and scalable processes worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of designing or architecting systems; design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment.
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.
• Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex software solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the Manufacturing Test Ecosystem — Architect, develop, and sustain the end-to-end test infrastructure for Server hardware through System-level Rack integration.
• Drive Automation, Yield & Uptime — Develop automated test processes to reduce manual intervention and improve yield; oversee test-station failures across platforms.
• Define Test Strategy & Analyze Production Data — Establish modular strategies, analyze data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Support NPI & Provide DFx Feedback — Collaborate on test solutions to enable efficient production ramp and readiness.
• Collaborate & Guide Test infrastructure across ODM/CM sites — Align test requirements across hardware, firmware, and operations; optimize test time.
