We seek a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated tests across API, UI, and integration layers, working with multiple engineering teams in a distributed system. The role emphasizes more than UI testing, including integration and environment-aware testing for cloud-native services, with AI-powered tooling to accelerate test generation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for enterprise or SaaS products.
• Strong engineering skills with Java/TypeScript/JavaScript for automation.
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as JUnit/TestNG, Selenium/WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance automated test frameworks for API, UI, integration, performance, and regression testing.
• Develop automated test suites using JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or equivalents.
• Write tests validating distributed systems, multi-step workflows, asynchronous operations, and cross-service interactions.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers to build end-to-end test coverage.
• Validate API contracts, authentication flows, session behavior, and data integrity across microservices.
• Ensure tests run across dev, QC, staging, and production-like environments.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases, scaffolding, and documentation.
• Adopt AI techniques for coverage gaps, edge cases, and regression analysis.
