Job summary

Daon seeks a Senior Software Architect to define, evolve, and safeguard the architecture of the TrustX SaaS platform. You will collaborate with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, database, and QA teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing services.

This deeply technical role requires guiding design, reviews, and architectural decisions across enterprise-grade software. You will engage with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and leadership to shape technology choices,

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and building enterprise-class software.
• At least 3+ years in an architect or senior technical lead role.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong experience with Java ecosystems and AWS cloud services.
• Security, scalability, performance, reliability, and observability are core concerns.
• Strong communication skills for engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve end-to-end architecture for a SaaS platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure system designs.
• Guide implementation approaches and validate design decisions.
• Conduct design and code reviews and maintain architectural artifacts.
• Lead performance analysis and tuning across services and data stores.
• Participate in P1 incident management and post-incident reviews.
