Monzo is seeking an Operational, Technology and Information Security Risk Senior Manager in the second line of defence to provide independent oversight, challenge and advisory support on risk management practices across the EU.

You will work with senior stakeholders across first line technology, information security and operational resilience to ensure risks are proactively identified, assessed, monitored and managed in line with Monzo's risk framework and appetite, reporting to the Director of

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in operational risk, technology risk or related roles in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Act as second line subject matter expert for operational risk, technology risk (ICT and security risk, including cyber), and operational resilience.
• Review and challenge the design and effectiveness of controls over key tech systems and digital infrastructure.
• Provide oversight of first line risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), incident management, issue remediation and risk mitigation processes.
• Coordinate second line assurance reviews and risk deep dives into critical operational and technology areas with actionable recommendations.
