Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Director, Technology Risk to provide independent second-line oversight of technology risks across markets, with a focus on Europe. You will align risk management with IT policies, standards and regulatory expectations, and support enterprise risk frameworks and governance reporting.

The role involves leading risk assessments, developing control frameworks, and engaging with regulators and senior management to drive risk visibility and remediation.

• Strong communication and ability to present to senior management and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second-line oversight and validation of technology risks across markets, with a focus on Europe.
• Support development and maintenance of a technology risk management framework aligned with regulatory obligations.
• Lead the development of risk reporting for market and Group governance forums and ensure timely escalation.
