Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Information Security Risk professional to support the delivery of risk program objectives in an Ireland-based role. You will identify and assess technology risks, develop remediation actions, and report findings to senior stakeholders.

The role requires deep knowledge of cybersecurity risk, strong communication, and ability to work with multi-national teams. Collaboration with management and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a highly regulated technical or security-related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Finance or related discipline; advanced IT degree is a plus.
• Current professional certification in information security/risk management (CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging technology and cybersecurity risks and lead risk reduction through expert assessment and advisory.
• Review, challenge, and provide independent risk perspective on significant technology strategies, initiatives, and architectures.
• Conduct technology and cybersecurity risk assessments and operational exercises.
• Document assessment results and remediation plans; report to management and stakeholders.
• Produce risk metrics, dashboards, and deep-dive assessment reporting.
• Provide cross-training and mentorship to junior team members.
