Job summary

Stryker Corporation Macroom, Ireland, is hiring an onsite permanent maintenance technician for an evening shift. You will maintain production equipment, ensure conformity to Health & Safety and Quality System requirements, and troubleshoot issues while using CMMS to log all maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate has an Engineering degree (level 7/8) and at least 3 years in a similar role, with CNC experience a plus, plus strong communication across levels of the organisation.

Qualifications

• Level 7/8 Engineering degree desirable.
• CNC experience advantageous (Mazak/DMG).
• Strong communication and interaction with all levels of the organisation are required.
• Industrial services experience is a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a large company or with a related service provider to industry in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on production equipment: electrical, pneumatic, PLCs, BMS, HVAC, access controls.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Use CMMS to record scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Perform Break Down Analysis (BDA) on faulty equipment and record in CMMS.
• Support Daily Management system and lean problem solving for continuous improvement.
• Maintain site cgmp standards.

Pay Ranges:

Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
