Job summary

State Street is seeking an AVP Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology programs across a global enterprise. You will drive end-to-end execution, partnering with infrastructure, engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and operations teams to deliver business-critical outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, data center transformation, and technology risk remediation within large organizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project or program management delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience leading infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, data center modernization, or risk remediation projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects in complex matrix organizations.
• PM certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe or equivalent desirable.
• Budgeting, financial management, and forecasting skills.
• Executive reporting and dashboard development.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools and automation platforms.
• Vendor management and third-party delivery coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of technology projects and workstreams from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and change controls.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives.
• Drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple technology and business teams in a global environment.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate governance activities, steering committee meetings, and leadership updates.
• Produce executive reporting, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs.
• Maintain RAID logs, financial tracking, action plans, and reporting artifacts.
• Drive transparency and governance through structured reporting.
