Job summary

State Street is seeking an AVP Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology programs across a global enterprise. You will partner with Technology Platform, Engineering & Operations, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Finance and Procurement to drive on-time, within-scope outcomes.

Responsibilities include governance, executive reporting, dashboards, budgeting, and vendor management, with a focus on automation, AI-enabled tools, and modern project practices to improve delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project or program management delivering enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience leading infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, data center modernization or risk remediation projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects in complex matrix organizations.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics to improve execution and reporting.
• Budgeting, financial management, and forecasting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of technology projects and workstreams from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and change controls.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
• Drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple technology and business teams in a global environment.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate governance activities, steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and leadership updates.
• Produce executive reporting, dashboards, project metrics, and KPIs.
• Maintain RAID logs, financial tracking, action plans, and reporting artifacts.
• Drive transparency and governance through structured reporting.
