Job summary

Peak Performance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for our Dublin office. You will oversee a portfolio of leased aircraft, coordinate lease deliveries and redeliveries, and ensure compliance with airworthiness and regulatory requirements.

You will audit aircraft records, support transactions, and maintain strong relationships with operators. This role demands deep expertise in aviation asset management and detailed technical oversight.

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer qualification or equivalent aviation technical credential.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in the aircraft leasing sector.
• Strong asset management experience within aviation leasing or related fields.
• Solid understanding of airworthiness requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting deliveries, redeliveries, and lease transitions.
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance records and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA certification and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of leased aircraft and ensure lease obligations are met.
• Provide technical oversight of parked, stored, and off-lease aircraft.
• Support acquisitions, sales, and disposal transactions from a technical angle.
• Review and audit aircraft and engine records for accuracy and completeness.
• Audit life-limited part traceability across aircraft and engine assets.
• Coordinate acceptance, lease delivery, and redelivery processes with customers and OEMs.
• Schedule inspections and monitor technical activity for leased assets.
• Keep aircraft records current and support component forecasting.
• Conduct operational due diligence audits and customer visits as required.
• Review shop visit documentation and communicate findings.
• Maintain relationships with operators and support technical discussions.
• Manage maintenance reserve databases and assess claims.
• Monitor regulatory developments including FAA and EASA guidance.
• Prepare and issue technical reports to customers and stakeholders.
