Job summary

ResMed Inc is seeking a systems-focused engineer to own end-to-end data flow and system architecture for accountable features. You will define system-level data flows and acceptance criteria for V&V teams and vendors, evaluate design alternatives with subsystems, and ensure safety, performance, reliability, and functionality across the product portfolio.

You will drive alignment across product teams and external partners, organise system artefacts, monitor technical risks, and support OTA

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science with relevant discipline.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience with software development processes and agile methodologies.
• Experience in new product development environments, including hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data flow and system architecture for accountable features.
• Define system-level data flows and acceptance criteria for V&V teams and vendors.
• Evaluate technical design alternatives with subsystem experts and stakeholders.
• Ensure artefacts meet safety, performance, reliability, and functionality expectations.
• Drive alignment across product teams, business units, and external vendors.
• Organise and deliver system artefacts, including interface and data documentation.
• Identify early indicators of technical risks and define mitigation approaches.
• Support planning of over-the-air updates to enhance customer and patient functionality.
• Stay informed on cybersecurity standards and ensure ecosystem compliance.
