Job summary

NRL in Dublin is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a multidisciplinary design team on Life Sciences projects. You will develop, coordinate and deliver structural designs in collaboration with other engineering disciplines, ensuring Eurocode compliance and high quality standards.

You will use STAAD, Tekla, Robot, Navisworks and Revizto to model, check and coordinate designs, mentor junior engineers and contribute to project reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer within industrial or related projects
• Proficiency in Eurocode design standards
• Skilled in structural design software (e.g., STAAD, Tekla, or Robot)
• Familiarity with Navisworks and Revizto for project collaboration
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver structural design packages
• Apply Eurocode standards for structural design work
• Use structural design software such as STAAD, Tekla, and Robot
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including internal design and construction management
• Contribute to design coordination using Navisworks and Revizto
• Participate in internal reviews and model coordination meetings
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in all designs
