Job summary

ORS is seeking a Senior Engineer in Ireland to manage client projects from feasibility through to construction services for design/bid/build and design/build delivery. You will lead civil & infrastructure design efforts and work with cross‑functional teams to meet client requirements.

The role offers a remote-first hybrid model, with travel to project sites as needed and opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Level 8 qualification in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in construction engineering, preferably consultancy.
• Chartership preferred but not essential.
• Experience leading civil & infrastructure design and delivery.
• Excellent technical design skills and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for clients, including feasibility studies and long-range planning.
• Deliver full design services: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents.
• Provide services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build.

Education

Level 8 qualification in Structural Engineering or equivalent

7-10 years of construction engineering experience

Experience leading civil & infrastructure projects

Excellent technical design skills & knowledge of codes

Strong communication & interpersonal skills
