Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Ireland to lead structural design for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber buildings. You will deliver calculations, produce drawings, and support projects from concept to construction while coordinating with architects, clients, and contractors.

This full-time on-site role requires a degree in structural engineering, at least five years in a consultancy, and strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a consultancy.
• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, MasterSeries, Robot, or similar).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
• Strong communication and project coordination abilities.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle.
• Currently based in Ireland, eligible to work, and available for full-time employment.

Your New Job:

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—from initial concepts right through to construction. You’ll work closely with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure safe and effective structural designs. This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence during construction phases.
