Job summary

CS Consulting Group Civil & Structural Engineers in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ years’ experience to contribute to the design and delivery of a broad range of projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and public sectors.

You will work on feasibility through construction stages, ensuring buildable, robust structural solutions, while applying Eurocodes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Masters or Honours Degree (Level 8+) in Structural Engineering.
• 4+ years experience as a structural engineer on a broad range of development projects (high-rise or low-rise residential experience desirable).
• Aspiration to get Chartered with Engineers Ireland/ IStructE in the near future.
• Experience with Eurocodes, ideally with work experience in Ireland, the UK or Europe.
• Solid technical and analytical skills with demonstrable problem solving abilities.
• Experience attending site and carrying out inspections in accordance with BCAR is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of structural engineering services across a range of projects, from feasibility through detailed design and construction stages.
• Provide technical input on structural design requirements and solutions, working closely with project teams, senior colleagues, and other disciplines.
• Participate in design team meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors as part of coordinated project delivery.
• Assist in the development of practical and efficient structural design solutions, ensuring designs are buildable and technically robust.
• Ensure designs are prepared in accordance with relevant Eurocodes, standards, and best practice.
• Prepare and assist in the coordination of technical reports, calculations, drawings, and tender documentation in collaboration with engineers and technicians.
• Support site inspections and construction‑stage services, including assisting senior engineers where certification or inspections are required.
• Work collaboratively with civil and structural teams on integrated multidisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting company procedures, quality standards, and technical initiatives.

Your mission

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ years’ experience to join our growing structural engineering team based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will have a hands‑on role in the design and delivery of structural engineering services across a broad and interesting range of public and private sector projects.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll contribute to a varied and engaging portfolio of projects, including:

• Private residential developments (low-rise and high-rise)
• Public sector housing schemes for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA)
• Commercial office developments
• Hotels and hospitality projects
• Industrial and manufacturing facilities
• Data centre developments
• Healthcare and education projects
• Refurbishment and adaptive reuse of existing buildings
• Commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects

Key Responsibilities

Your profile
