Honeywell Technologies in Dublin is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for global suppliers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

We have an opportunity for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist highly experienced, commercially astute Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Ireland Dublin Supply Chain organization. A seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience operating in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments and a proven ability to deliver results through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing initiatives, and data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing global suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, driving productivity improvements, managing supply chain risks, and supporting business growth through effective sourcing strategies. This individual must be analytical, logical, commercially minded, and comfortable operating within a dynamic international environment. Equally important, they must be excellent relationship builder who can work effectively with people across different functions, cultures, and regions while maintaining the ability to challenge suppliers and drive accountability when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned supplier portfolios. Manage key supplier relationships across multiple regions. Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, lead times, payment terms, productivity initiatives, and long-term agreements. Drive supplier performance improvements in cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and innovation. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through effective supplier management and sourcing strategies. Lead supplier business reviews and performance management initiatives.
• Cost Reduction & Productivity - Deliver annual productivity and cost reduction objectives. Conduct spend analysis and identify strategic sourcing opportunities. Execute RFQs, supplier benchmarking, market intelligence reviews, and sourcing events. Support working capital, inventory optimization, and total cost reduction initiatives.
• Supply Chain Support - Support critical supply chain escalations and continuity planning activities. Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams. Support new product introductions, supplier transfers, and cost-out initiatives. Participate in cross-functional projects supporting business growth and operational excellence.
• Trade Compliance & Regulatory Support- Maintain and validate supplier compliance documentation, support global trade compliance initiatives and risk mitigation activities, and collaborate with Logistics, Compliance, and Legal teams as required.
• Analytics Reporting & Business Intelligence- Utilize SAP, Power BI, and business intelligence tools to analyze spend, supplier performance, inventory trends, and sourcing opportunities; develop sourcing dashboards and KPI reporting; create executive-level presentations and sourcing business reviews.

Must Have Skills

• 10 years of experience - Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain experience within manufacturing environments. Proven expertise in direct materials sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and data-driven sourcing/analytics tools.
• Expertise in strategic s ourcing, RFQ/tender management, contract management, supplier performance management, and cost analysis.
• Industry experience in Electronics, PCB Assemblies, Cable Assemblies, Power Supplies, Electromechanical Components, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong experience managing global supplier networks and ensuring supply continuity in dynamic market conditions. Demonstrated ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and organizational influence.
