Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to join a global 24x7 Storage Operations team supporting Platform and Managed Services customers. This role provides Level 3 support, including incident response, service requests, problem management, infrastructure improvements, and ONTAP upgrades.

The ideal candidate has deep NetApp storage experience (CDOT and 7-Mode), strong knowledge of storage protocols, and proficiency with tools like OnCommand Unified Manager, Performance Manager,

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with NetApp storage, CDOT and 7-Mode, and related administration tasks.
• Familiarity with NetApp cloud/hybrid solutions (CVO, StorageGrid, E‑Series).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ability to act as escalation point for delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 storage operations support for Platform and Managed Services customers.
• Handle incident response, service requests, and problem management.
• Lead infrastructure improvements and ONTAP upgrades.
• Coordinate with cloud/hybrid NetApp solutions and disaster recovery testing.
