Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Dublin/EMEA is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to evolve a Kubernetes-based platform that hosts internal, AI-driven workflows. You will collaborate with the Dublin team and global SRE peers to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure, reporting to the Senior Manager SRE.

You bring 5+ years in SRE/Platform/Infra, strong Kubernetes in production, IaC with Terraform, and experience in large public clouds (AWS).

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production - deployment, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
Experience operating large-scale internal infrastructure platforms in a public cloud, preferably AWS.
Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to or interest in building infrastructure that hosts AI/ML or agentic workflows.
Experience with observability platforms and monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, APM, or equivalent).
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment with ambiguity around process and tooling.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones.
Computer Science degree or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Build, operate, and improve the Kubernetes-based platform for internal workflows.
Develop self-service capabilities, golden paths, and automation for onboarding and operation.
Ensure readiness to host AI-driven workflows at scale in production.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations.
Contribute to and uphold reliability practices - SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, runbooks.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices, including change and release management.
Build and maintain observability and monitoring coverage for the systems you own.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Dublin and global SRE teams.
