Job summary

General Motors' OnStar SRE team in Dublin is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to scale cloud-native services and ensure resilient, high‑performing platforms for millions of customers. You will own reliability practices, advance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, and mentor engineers across cross‑functional teams.

Hybrid role with in‑office presence in Dublin three days per week, shaping incident response, deployment safety, and privacy‑driven engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Experience scaling cloud-native systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for OnStar experiences.
• Drive configuration management and testing frameworks to improve resilience.
• Collaborate across SRE, development, and product teams to improve reliability.
• Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog and manage SLO dashboards.
• Guide incident response, blameless postmortems, and root-cause analysis.
