Senior Solution Architect - Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Industry: International Healthcare & Life Sciences Work Authorisation: Must hold existing, unrestricted full right to work in Ireland without sponsorship (EU Citizen, Stamp 4, or Stamp 1G Spousal ONLY).

Role Overview

An international healthcare services group is embarking on an ambitious, multi-year digital transformation. We are seeking a Principal Dynamics 365 CE Architect to own the end-to-end target architecture of a strategic, global CRM platform. Building on a greenfield Dynamics 365 Customer Service foundation, you will serve as the primary Design Authority, setting technical direction, defining enterprise standards, and leading hands-on architectural decisions as the platform scales into a global system of engagement for commercial teams, healthcare providers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• CRM Architecture & Governance: Own end-to-end technical design from vision to execution. Define design principles, maintain target architecture, approve solution designs, and evaluate trade-offs between speed, cost, and long-term maintainability.
• Low-Code vs. Pro-Code Strategy: Establish clear criteria for configuration (Power Apps, Power Automate, Business Process Flows) versus custom development (plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript, Azure services) to optimize platform maintainability and TCO.
• Integration Architecture: Design robust, observable integration patterns connecting D365 CE and Dataverse with enterprise ERPs (e.g., SAP), Microsoft 365, and third-party platforms via Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, and REST APIs.
• Resiliency & Security by Design: Bake non-functional requirements into every iteration, including high availability, performance optimization, disaster recovery, data protection, and enterprise access controls.
• Hands-On Leadership & Mentoring: Act as the technical lead and escalation point for the engineering team. Conduct code and design reviews, mentor developers, and build prototypes to validate complex architectures.
• Agile Roadmap Delivery: Partner closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements and Microsoft release roadmaps into technical enablers within an Agile sprint delivery framework.

Required Experience & Competencies

• Enterprise D365 CE Architecture: Proven track record designing and scaling global Dynamics 365 CE environments (preferably with deep exposure to D365 Customer Service).
• Power Platform & Extensibility: Deep operational knowledge of Dataverse, Power Apps, and Cloud Flows, paired with hands-on pro-code experience (C# plugins, JavaScript, custom APIs).
• Enterprise Integration Stack: Proven expertise designing integrations using Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, and APIs. Experience integrating D365 with SAP is highly desirable.
• Modern ALM & DevOps: Strong background in CI/CD pipeline automation (Azure DevOps, Git). Manual deployments to non-development environments are strictly prohibited in this estate.
• Security & Non-Functionals: Demonstrated ability to architect for strict compliance, role-based access control (RBAC), high performance, and disaster recovery.
• Leadership & Influence: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to mentor engineers, guide technical standards, and clearly articulate complex trade-offs to senior business stakeholders.
• Domain Experience (Bonus): Experience operating within regulated or GxP-compliant healthcare/life sciences environments is an advantage.
