Job summary

Payment Networks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Network Access team. You will develop scalable streaming and data solutions using Java, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hive, Hadoop, and Go Lang. You will create technical docs and collaborate across teams throughout the software life cycle.

The role requires strong experience with distributed data technologies, CI/CD, Linux/UNIX environments, and security-conscious backend/frontend development practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with scalable streaming and data processing pipelines.
• Experience with Java, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hive, Hadoop.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile development practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and document designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable streaming and aggregation solutions using Java, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hive, Hadoop.
• Create documentation to support knowledge sharing, including flowcharts and diagrams.
• Collaborate with team members during all software development phases.
• Develop software using open-source tech to interface distributed and relational data.
• Communicate effectively with Development Leads, Project Manager and Senior Management throughout the project life cycle.
