Job summary

G MASS Consulting partners with a leading global Financial Services business to hire a Senior Data Engineer in Dublin. This hands‑on role sits at the centre of an enterprise data platform build, with scope to influence architecture and drive pipelines.

You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, manage real‑time and batch data, use Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog, apply IAM best practices, and contribute to AI initiatives in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions on Lakehouse architecture.
• Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and structured streaming for batch and real‑time data.
• Configure clusters and Spark jobs to deliver consistent performance at scale.
• Utilise Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog to manage data ingestion, transformation, and access governance.
• Apply IAM best practices and maintain data security standards across the platform.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and resource management using Terraform, and collaborate with the team in Agile sprints.
