Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is partnering with a Dublin-based software start-up to hire a Senior Software Engineer. You will build and improve customer-facing software in a modern .NET/Angular stack within a microservices architecture.

The role is hybrid in Dublin city centre (3 days on-site). You’ll work closely with Product, QA and DevOps, taking ownership of features, driving architecture decisions and delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Senior Software Engineer with strong .NET development and modern web app experience.
• Experience delivering features across backend and frontend in a microservices environment.
• Proficient with C#, Angular, REST APIs, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain software across backend and frontend applications.
• Develop new features from design through to production.

I'm working with an exciting software start-up in Dublin that is continuing to grow its engineering team and is looking to appoint a Senior Software Engineer.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys building software, improving existing systems and working closely with other engineers to deliver new product features.

The company is still at a stage where strong engineers can have a real impact, so they are looking for someone experienced who can come in, contribute quickly and help raise the technical standard of the product as it grows.

(Hybrid - Dublin City Centre - 3 days per week on-site)

The role...

About you...

You’ll likely be an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in .NET development and modern web applications.

• CI/CD
• Production troubleshooting
• Building and shipping software products

Experience modernising legacy applications or moving monolithic systems towards more modern architectures would be particularly useful.
