Job summary

Cpl in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own frontend experiences for dealer-facing products, collaborating with product and design teams, and contributing to full-stack features for our Canadian and UK markets.

You will mentor juniors, drive architecture discussions, ensure code quality, and uphold security and performance, with React, TypeScript, Remix/Next.js/Express stack, and exposure to cloud and container technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong production-grade React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience with Remix (or Next.js/Express) in production.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and production service management.
• Willingness to learn and lead projects; mentoring junior engineers.
• Bonus: cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

The International team is seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join the leading automotive platform company new Dublin office, work on exciting product initiatives for our Canadian and UK markets, and play a key role in establishing the office’s culture. In this frontend-focused role, you’ll take primary ownership of building engaging, high-quality experiences for our dealer-facing products while also contributing to full-stack features.

We are looking for candidates who are able to learn and adapt quickly, and collaborate with other engineers to deliver solutions. Some examples of potential project opportunities:

• Building intuitive, high-quality frontend experiences for international dealer products
• Building new, full-stack features for dealer products from the ground up
• Integrating with existing services and expanding functionality using React, TypeScript, and Java

As an engineer on this team, you will drive projects from conception to completion, working closely with other engineers and product partners to deliver impactful solutions for the international business. What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend experiences for our international dealer products using React and Typescript.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers across the organization to deliver and iterate on high-quality software solutions for our Canadian and UK markets.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Own frontend services from ideation through deployment and ongoing maintenance in production environments.
• Ensure systems are secure, maintainable, and highly available, following best practices in performance optimization and code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, using observability tools to understand system health and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide high-quality code review guidance, and contribute to establishing the team processes and engineering standards for the new Dublin office.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience in front-end software development.
• Solid, production-grade experience building dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Experience with server-side TypeScript (especially Remix, though Next.js or Express are also great additions).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to move quickly and thrive in an iterative, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Experience with GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production service management.
• Eagerness to learn and expand your capabilities through leading and owning projects.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and some experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
