Job summary

CarGurus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Dublin office, focusing on frontend experiences for international dealer products. You’ll own frontend features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to full-stack initiatives for Canada and the UK.

We value strong React and TypeScript skills, plus familiarity with Remix or Next.js and REST/GraphQL APIs. The role supports a hybrid work model in Dublin with opportunities to shape our international product initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience with Remix, Next.js, or Express.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend experiences for international dealer products using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software for the Canadian and UK markets.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and own frontend services from ideation to production deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish team's engineering standards for the Dublin office.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of frontend systems.
