Job summary

Slalom is a global, human-centric consulting firm and we’re excited to welcome a Senior Software Engineer to our Dublin team to drive world-class software. You will design, develop and deliver backend services and APIs using C#/.NET, Python or Java, and build modern frontend apps with React or TypeScript.

You’ll work across scalable, secure systems, implement containerisation with Docker, and support deployments with CI/CD on Azure or AWS, collaborating closely with Solution Owners and QA to

Qualifications

• Experience building modern web applications using React or TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, API integration and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and deployment concepts.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerisation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C#, Python or Java.
• Build frontend applications using React or TypeScript with strong UX performance.
• Create scalable, secure and maintainable software with a focus on quality.
• Design distributed systems, event-driven architectures and service integrations.
• Implement containerisation with Docker and support scalable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
