Job summary

AMCS is seeking an Engineering Manager based in Limerick to lead multiple software engineering teams delivering enterprise SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and DevOps to sustain high-value delivery and quality.

You will guide architectural decisions, champion DevOps, and drive metrics-driven development in a fast-growing, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
10+ years' experience managing software development projects.
5+ years hands-on leadership of complex software delivery initiatives.
Proven track record managing globally distributed teams with international stakeholders.
Balance customer requirements with a defined product release schedule.
Experience in software quality and test automation processes.
Experience in agile development and metric-driven release management.
Experience in CI/CD and SaaS business strategies.
Familiarity with DevOps processes and strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead the people, processes and metrics required to deliver a high quality SaaS application.
Partner with Product Management to ensure teams have clear backlogs.
Balance priorities to deliver new features while addressing defects and technical debt.
Recruit, develop, and motivate multiple high-performing teams of engineers in various locations.
Use data to measure impact and optimize engineering processes.
Meet deadlines and coordinate with technical team members to deliver quality results.
