Job summary

AMCS is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager based in Limerick to lead multiple teams of software engineers and collaborate with Product, Architecture and DevOps to deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS solutions.

You will drive architecture, development processes, and metrics, balance priorities, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with stakeholders across international teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science degree in a relevant discipline.
10+ years' experience managing software development projects.
5+ years leading complex software delivery with global dependencies.
Experience in agile software development and SaaS release management.
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead teams, processes and metrics to deliver a high-quality SaaS application.
Partner with Product Management to ensure clear backlogs.
Balance priorities to deliver features while fixing defects and technical debt.
Recruit, develop, and motivate multiple high-performing engineering teams across locations.
Use data to measure impact and optimize engineering processes.
Meet deadlines while coordinating with engineers to deliver quality results.
