Job summary

SOTI Inc in Galway, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Software Developer (C#) for a hybrid, permanent role. The candidate will design, develop and deploy complex modules with end-to-end ownership, focusing on quality, performance and security.

Ideal applicants will have 8+ years in enterprise software, strong C#/.NET, REST APIs, SQL Server and front-end JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to CICD and mentoring across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field.
• 8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET (ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI 2.0, Threading), REST APIs, JSON and SQL Server.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, SCSS, and NGRX.
• Independently write code, unit tests, BDD and automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy complex product modules on time.
• End-to-end ownership of the assigned modules with a strong focus on the solution, code quality, performance, security and efficiency.
• Actively contribute toward design discussions.
• Mentor and train junior team members on design techniques and coding standards.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test and deploy complex product modules on time

• Demonstrate engineering excellence through commitment to quality execution, continuous improvement and customer empathy
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices such as style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability and efficiency
• Provide solid technical leadership and work closely with team leads, product management and QA teams for flawless delivery of the product
• Actively contribute towards the CICD process
• Drive team in adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes

Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field, with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, as well as the underlying logic and relationships within software systems.
• Proven hands-on experience in software development and solution design, preferably within product-based organizations, with 8+ years of enterprise-level development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET (ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI 2.0, Threading), REST APIs, JSON and SQL server.
• A plus to have experience with modern front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/ Typescript, Angular 21, HTML5, SCSS, and NGRX
• Independently write code, unit test cases, BDD and automation scripts.
• Excellent understanding of unit test principles, multi-layer architecture, SOA principles and best development practices
• A broad experience of architecture, infrastructure, software, and computing systems with a proven track record of designing and developing solutions for end users on cross platform systems.
• Passion for modern technology and a proven track record of successfully making a positive impact as tech visionary.
• Understanding/or strong interest in Agile methods such as Scrum/XP, Behavior Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery
• Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills, and you like to share knowledge with others.
