Job summary

Sogeti Ireland is seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to design, develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions that support key business processes across the organisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, proven delivery on implementations or platform enhancements, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience delivering ServiceNow implementations or platform enhancements.
• ServiceNow certifications desirable.
• Third-level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Experience integrating with APIs and enterprise integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow enhancements and projects.
• Develop, test and support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues while monitoring and optimising platform performance, stability, and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform by implementing best practices, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow enhancements and projects.
• Develop, test and support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues while monitoring and optimising platform performance, stability, and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform by implementing best practices, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum of 3+ years’ hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Proven experience delivering ServiceNow implementations, platform enhancements, or development projects.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are desirable.
• Third-level degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technology discipline.
• Experience developing integration using APIs and working with enterprise integration technologies.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
