Job summary

SOTI Inc in Galway, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Software Developer (C#) for a hybrid, permanent role. The candidate will design, develop and deploy complex modules with end-to-end ownership, focusing on quality, performance and security.

Ideal applicants will have 8+ years in enterprise software, strong C#/.NET, REST APIs, SQL Server and front-end JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to CICD and mentoring across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field.
• 8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, .NET (ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI 2.0, Threading), REST APIs, JSON and SQL Server.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, SCSS, and NGRX.
• Independently write code, unit tests, BDD and automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy complex product modules on time.
• End-to-end ownership of the assigned modules with a strong focus on the solution, code quality, performance, security and efficiency.
• Actively contribute toward design discussions.
• Mentor and train junior team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Provide solid technical leadership and work closely with team leads, product management and QA teams for flawless delivery.
• Actively contribute towards the CICD process.
• Drive team in adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes.
• Proactively identify and work on automation opportunities.
