Job summary

evoke is seeking a Software Architect to lead architectural design for web and mobile platforms in Ireland. You will shape architectural frameworks, drive performance, and mentor developers across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will engage in requirements analysis, design reviews, and provide technical leadership for complex distributed systems using REST, JSON, SQL databases and modern OSS tooling. A strong communicator and hands-on coder are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise level applications and services.
• Strong architecture and leadership skills across teams.
• Hands-on with web/mobile architectures and RESTful services.
• Proficient in Linux, databases and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural frameworks for web-based and mobile applications
• Design solutions with high performance and user satisfaction
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers
• Resolve complex technical issues through debugging and investigation
• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements and design
• Advise development teams on development, testing and deployment
• Participate in code reviews to ensure architectural alignment
• Develop prototypes to validate design ideas
• Act as design leader in creating technological solutions
