Job summary

Hata Care Services in County Dublin seeks a Social Care Team Leader to oversee residential care operations, ensuring high standards of practice and safeguarding for young people. The role requires leadership in a dynamic setting and a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and child protection.

Qualified candidates will hold a QQI Level 7 in Applied Social Care (or equivalent for CORU registration) and have at least 3 years post-graduate experience in residential care, with CORU registrations

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 in Applied Social Care or an equivalent qualification recognised for CORU registration as a Social Care Worker.
• CORU Registration completed or the application commenced.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in a mainstream residential centre.
• Team Leader experience in a mainstream residential centre.
• Experience in supporting vulnerable young people with a trauma-informed approach.
• Deep commitment to children’s rights and child protection and enjoying working in a dynamic, challenging environment.
• Knowledge and experience of implementing National Standards for Children’s Residential Centre.
