Job summary

OC Recruitment is seeking a Social Care Leader for a values-led residential service in Dundrum, Tipperary. You will support the manager, lead a team of social care staff, and deliver trauma-informed care to the young people in their charge.

Experience with trauma-informed practice and a non-traditional care model is preferred. QQI Level 7 in Social Care, a full clean licence, and CORU registration are required. New graduates are welcome to apply under Ireland eligibility rules.

The Role

As Social Care Leader, you'll support the manager with the day-to-day running of the house, leading a team of social care staff to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care to the young people in their charge. You'll be a steady, experienced presence someone who can model best practice, support colleagues, and build the kind of trusting relationships that make real change possible for children who haven't always had that chance. This isn't a standard residential setting. The service is built on a genuinely unique model of care, and the right candidate will be someone excited by that difference not just looking to fit into a conventional framework. What We’re Looking For

• QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent)
• Full, clean driver's licence
• Coru Registration
• Experience working with children in residential services is desirable, though not essential
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
