Job summary

VETRO FiberMap, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to scale the Dublin-based platform. You will establish SLI/SLOs, automate deployments, and lead incident response for a global GIS fiber-management product.

In this hybrid Dublin role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Customer teams, applying security best practices and AI-enabled automation to reduce operational toil and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Geographic Information Science, or significant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Strong provisioning and support of highly available cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or similar).
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD in Agile SDLC.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, observability and incident management.
• Troubleshooting complex distributed systems across apps, DBs, networks, and infra.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash); PostgreSQL / PostGIS experience.
• Security compliance such as SOC 2 and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and platform health.
• Build, operate, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Ensure observability and quick understanding of performance, failures, and dependencies.
• Improve detection, response, root-cause analysis, postmortems, and on-call readiness.
• Automate deployments, remediation, infrastructure management, and capacity planning.
• Scale the platform using modern cloud tools and architectures, optimize large datasets.
