Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a new build residential project in Limerick. The successful candidate will join the site team on a permanent basis, supporting delivery, ensuring works meet safety and quality standards and are completed accurately.

Responsibilities include checking plans, producing progress reports, supervising setting out and surveying, using AutoCAD on site, coordinating with subcontractors and site managers, and upholding health and safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience as Site Engineer for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong experience on new build residential projects.
• Proven experience in setting out and surveying on construction sites.
• Proficient in Total Station, GPS and other surveying equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.
